Tur Manastirile Moldovai

Turul prin manastirile moldovanesti este concentrat pe regiunea Calarasi si cuprinde toate cele patru manastiri incluse in traseu: "Raciula", "Frumoasa", "Harbovat", "Hirjauca".

The first monastery, which should be visited is located in Raciula village, 46 km from Chisinau. Monastery complex is located in the center of the village, the compact monks cameras are placed on both sides of the temple "St. Nicholas", creating a uniform composition. The second monastery, "Frumoasa", which is situated on a hill sloping Ikel river, surrounded by vineyards, gardens and hills, and has a particular architecture. Architecture of both churches (summer and winter) carries a feature national Moldovan stamp with an impurity of classic and baroque elements. For a truthful impression about the monasteries of Moldova, we will visit "Hirbovat" monastery with beautiful gardens and vineyards of grapes surrounded from the south, and a picturesque valley to protect the monastery. For visitors' attention is proposed the architecture of cellars, stables and barns with large, thick walls, interesting shapes creating an asymmetry.

Last stop of the group well Monastery Hirjauca, which is situated on a small river with same name, at the foot of a hill with century oaks. Architecture of this monastery is very interesting and original, the alley of poplars leads to the gates, and the most original thing is that the monastery is arranged in a horseshoe shape.
