Short History

Chisinau - the capital of Moldova, has a population of 750,000 inhabitants and is situated, also as Rome, on seven hills, and the first document dated 17 July 1436. From a small village and town, by the early nineteenth century, Moldova became the administrative center of Bessarabia.

The city is developing fast, there are many buildings in various architectural styles. Namely due to the great architects Alexander Bernardazzi creations and Alexei Shusev, Chisinau is unrepeatable beauty. Here lived the famous personalities who have contributed to the development of national culture.
